Scholarship Summary:
The academic scholarship program at Mississippi Valley State University is designed to recognize and reward those students (domestic and international) who have exemplified academic excellence. The Vice President’s Scholarship is awarded based on scholastic merit and financial need as an integral part of the recipient's total financial aid package.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
ii. Earn a minimum cumulative SAT score of 1100-1150 or a composite ACT score of 22-23
iii. Institutional scholarships are Pell-based so all scholarship recipients must complete the FAFSA (excluding international students)
Value of Scholarship:
The Vice President’s scholarship covers full tuition and fees and a book allowance of $300. The scholarship is renewable for 3 years with a maintained cumulative 3.0 GPA and 30 earned credits each year (fall and spring semesters only)
