Scholarship Deadline: 

Applications for this scholarship must be submitted at least a week before the following days;

i. Academic Honor Day 1: November 1, 2025
ii. Academic Honor Day 2: February 7, 2026
iii. Academic Honor Day 3: April 4, 2026

Scholarship Summary: 

A number of outstanding students (domestic and international) will be recognized as Prestigious Honors Scholarship recipients after participation in the Graceland Academic Honors day. All other participants will receive the Scholar Award for competing at one of these events.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5+

• Students with a 3.25+ GPA will be invited to attend the Prestigious Honors Days and will be interviewed for Honors Scholarship and admission into the Honors Program.

Value of Scholarship: 

i. Prestigious Honors Scholarship: covers the cost of full tuition per academic year and is renewable for four years (3 awards available)

ii. Honors Program Award: Amount varies, renewable

Scholarship Application Guide: 

To apply;
i. Entering first-year students submit a Graceland Application for Admission.

• Have your high school, college or university send your official transcript.
• Submit ACT/SAT scores (optional).

ii. Complete the Honors Program application and supporting materials.

• If you wish to be considered for the Prestigious Honors Scholarship, you must apply to the Honors Program at least one week prior to the Academic Honors Day in which you will compete for the award.

iii. Candidates meeting the evaluation criteria will be invited to campus for an interview on Academic Honors Day. Applicants will be evaluated on academic success, communication and leadership.

The day will consist of several sessions including:

1. Academic session
2. Interviews
3. A student panel
4. Optional campus tour

Prestigious Honors recipients must participate in the Honors Program, maintain a 3.75 GPA and take required Honors courses each academic year at Graceland University.
