Scholarship Summary: 
All incoming traditional students (domestic) are considered for the Founder’s scholarship, provided they meet the specified qualifications. Students are only considered once they have been admitted to Point University and have filled out the necessary application (if required). This scholarship is awarded to two students each year.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Students seeking enrollment at Point are only considered for the Founder’s Scholarship when they have met the following qualifications:
i. Must be an incoming first-year student and must live on campus each term enrolled.
ii. Possess a 3.5 GPA in high school coursework
iii. Possess a combined SAT score of 1310 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math) or an ACT cumulative score of 27
iv. Provide a written essay about why a Point University education is important and why he or she desires to attend the University

Value of Scholarship: 
This award covers the cost of full tuition, room and board for up to four years of study. The Founder’s Scholarship is renewable based on a 3.5 cumulative GPA at Point for a maximum of four years.

i. Eligible admitted undergraduates should complete the Founder's Scholarship form and submit to the Admission Office at Point University at admissiondocuments@point.edu
