Scholarship Summary: 
The Cumbria International Scholarship offers a generous discount towards tuition fees for eligible full-time taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University of Cumbria for the 2026/27 academic year. Scholarships are limited to specific programmes taught at Ambleside, Carlisle and Lancaster campuses.  

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the Cumbria International Scholarship, 
1. Applicants must hold an offer of a place of study on an eligible full-time bachelor's or master's programme (minimum 360 credits UG or minimum 180 credits PG) at Ambleside, Carlise (Brampton Road), Carlisle (Fusehill Street) or Lancaster Campus.
2. All applicants must be self-funding students with overseas fee status.
3. Only undergraduate offer holders with, or on track to be awarded, the minimum required academic qualifications will be considered for an award
4. All postgraduate offer holders must be holding, or on track to be awarded, the equivalent of a minimum of a UK 2:2 bachelor's degree will be considered for an award

Value of Scholarship: 
The Cumbria International Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. Undergraduate: £1,500 per year of study for a 3-year degree
ii. Postgraduate: £2,000

Scholarship Application Guide: 
You do not need to apply separately for the Cumbria International Scholarship; simply apply for admission into an undergraduate or postgraduate course.
