Scholarship Summary: 
LSUS offers scholarships for international students (undergraduate and graduate) with an F-1 visa who are not enrolled in a 100% online program.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for an LSUS International scholarship, you must; 
i. Be an international fee-paying student
ii. Undergraduates must have successfully completed secondary school, have at least a 24 ACT composite or other equivalent, and a secondary school GPA of at least 2.0 as converted on the U.S. scale
iii. Graduates must be admitted to an LSUS Graduate Program.

Retention Requirements:
i. Continuous, full-time (12 or more hours for undergraduate) or (9 or more hours for graduate) enrollment each fall and spring semester through the census date  
ii. Minimum 2.5 GPA (undergraduate) or a 2.75 GPA (graduate) at LSU Shreveport  
iii. Earn a minimum of 24 credit hours (undergraduate) or 18 hours (graduate) at the conclusion of each spring

Value of Scholarship: 
The LSUS International Scholarship is equivalent to the non-resident fee and is limited to 8 semesters (undergraduate) or 4 semesters (graduate or doctoral)

There is no extra application to apply for these merit-based, academic scholarships. Once you have applied for admission to LSUS, your information will be reviewed and you will be notified regarding which scholarship you may be qualified to receive.
