Scholarship Summary:
La Trobe University values academic excellence and is rewarding high achieving International students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course with the La Trobe International Scholarship (LTIS).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
• Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
• Be a new International student applying for 2023/2024 intakes.
• Be a full fee-paying student (Non-sponsored).
• Apply to a program in the LTIS List of eligible courses.
• Not available to humanitarian or other permanent visa holders.
Value of Scholarship:
The La Trobe International Scholarship (LTIS) is tenable for the entire duration of studies and is valued as follows;
i. La Trobe University International Academic Scholarship: 20% off the tuition cost (55-69.9 WAM*)
ii. La Trobe University International Merit Scholarship: 25% off the tuition cost (70-74.9 WAM)
iii. La Trobe University International Excellence Scholarship: 30% off the tuition cost (75+ WAM)
*A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) is an average mark that takes into account the credit point value of the subjects that you have completed. It is based on the actual mark of all subjects completed in your course at any given time.
This scholarship will be applied as a discount to tuition fees for each subject studied for the entire duration of the course.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship after submitting an application for an LTIS approved course.
Percentage awarded is based on the WAM and overall eligibility of the course. The scholarship will be included in the Letter of Offer.
