Scholarship Summary:
The University of Oregon offers General University Scholarships to graduate and law students (domestic and international) who will be entering in fall. These Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, and selection is highly competitive.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be applying for a graduate or law degree at UO
ii. Have excellent academic records
Please note that academic merit criteria vary and will be determined on a case by case basis.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Oregon General Scholarship Awards vary between $1,000 - $3,600 and are awarded for one year at a time only. Students are encouraged to reapply each year.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply,
• Apply for admission to the University of Oregon by February 15.
• Watch your e-mail for an invitation to enter the UO Scholarship Dashboard. The first invitations will be sent once the application opens in mid-October.
• Submit the online General University Scholarship application via the Scholarship Dashboard by March 1.
• Have an instructor or professor submit your online letter of reference via the Scholarship Dashboard by March 1.
• Submit your official transcripts by March 1.
- Incoming Law applicants will submit their transcripts when applying for admission via the Law School Admission Council.
- Incoming Graduate applicants will submit their transcripts to the Office of the Registrar.
- Incoming Post-Baccalaureate applicants will submit their transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
