Scholarship Summary:
The Postgraduate Academic Excellence International Scholarship at UTS was created to attract high achieving commencing international students enrolling in a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
• Must remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia) for the duration of the Scholarship; and
• Must meet all admission criteria for the selected Master by coursework program; and
• Must be commencing studies at UTS full-time and on campus; and
• Must not:
o be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; or
o have completed academic studies in Australia prior to commencing at UTS; and
o be a recipient of other scholarships or grants or the Alumni Advantage Program from UTS for the duration of this Scholarship; and be a government sponsored student.
Value of Scholarship:
The UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence International Scholarship is valued as 25% or 35% of UTS tuition fees.
Scholarship Application Guide:
UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.
Selection process
1) MBA (C04018) applicants only: Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS or the GMAT exam.
2) Applicants for all other coursework programs (other than MBA): Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Master degree by coursework program.
Offers will be authorized by UTS International.
