Scholarship Summary:
Lancaster University is delighted to announce the generous Lancaster Global scholarship scheme for high-achieving students from all international countries, who are liable for International tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee waiver for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes and will be automatically awarded if students meet the eligibility criteria and terms and conditions outlined below.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To qualify for a Lancaster Excellence Scholarship;
i. For Undergraduate studies, awardees must achieve A*AA minimum at A level, or equivalent
ii. The Lancaster Global Scholarship is available for eligible applicants to all full-time and part-time taught undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught degree-level programmes, offered fully on-campus at Lancaster University for October entry.
iii. Applicants must be in receipt of either a conditional or an unconditional offer for a place at Lancaster University for October entry, which you have accepted (non‐UCAS applications) or accepted firmly (UCAS applications).
iv. Fully funded applicants are not eligible for this scholarship.
v. Awardees must be classed as Overseas or International fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘Home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of Scholarship:
The Lancaster Excellence Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. A scholarship of £3,000 (tuition discount) for each year of study is available for students joining undergraduate programmes.
ii. A discount of up to 30% of the tuition fees for the first year of entry is available for students joining Postgraduate Taught programmes.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application process for the Lancaster Excellence Scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their University .
