This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Newcastle University is offering three GREAT scholarships to international students from Mexico or Thailand applying for postgraduate taught programmes.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for Newcastle University - GREAT Scholarships 2026, applicants must:
• be passport holders of Mexico or Thailand
• be assessed as international for fee purposes
• hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme.
• have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
The applicants chosen to receive the awards will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application and may be contacted for additional information.
Value of Scholarship:
The Newcastle University - GREAT Scholarships 2026 – Mexico or Thailand is valued as £10,000 towards tuition fees for one year of study only.
