Scholarship Summary:
All U.S. and Permanent Resident applicants who have been admitted to Gustavus will be automatically considered for the renewable Dean’s merit-based scholarships. International students are eligible for the Count Folke Bernadotte Memorial Scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be admitted for undergraduate study at Gustavus Adolphus
ii. Show significant academic achievement, service, or leadership in their high schools, churches, and communities.

The Gustavus Adolphus College Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
For Domestic Students
i. $25,000 Gold Scholarship
ii. $31,000 Three Crowns Scholarship
iii. $35,000 Dean's Scholarship
iv. $40,000 President's Scholarship
v. $42,000 Excellence Scholarship
For International Students
i. Count Folke Bernadotte Scholarship for International students: Awards typically ranges from $20,000 - $40,000 per year and is assigned based on a number of factors, including academic success, extracurricular involvement, and demonstration of financial need
