Scholarship Summary: 
Wells College is delighted to offer merit-based scholarships to first-year applicants (domestic and international) with exceptional academic records and great leadership skills. Recipients are selected at the time of admission based on information supplied in the application.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen students
ii. Demonstrate outstanding consistent academic achievement and leadership skills throughout high school
iii. Demonstrate active involvement in co-curricular and/or community activities

Value of Scholarship: 
The Wells College Merit-Based Scholarships for First-year Students are valued as follows;
i. Henry Wells Scholarship: $25,000/year {This award includes a $3,000 that can be used to support internships or other experiential learning}.
ii. Trustee Scholarship: $22,500/year
iii. President’s Scholarship: $21,000/year
iv. Dean’s Award: $20,000/year
v. Alumni Opportunity Award: $17,500/year

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application; all eligible students who have submitted a completed application to Wells College will be considered for the following scholarships and awards.
