Merit scholarships at CSU-Pueblo are awarded automatically to first time Freshmen (domestic and international) who meet any two of the three minimum academic requirements, i.e., ACT composite/SAT mathematics & critical reading scores, and weighted GPA and/or Class Rank. The scholarships are only awarded to incoming freshmen who enroll in fall classes immediately following their graduation.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen admitted for undergraduate study
ii. Obtain one of the following scores; 24 ACT or 1180 SAT or Top 15% or 3.5 GPA
Value of Scholarship:
The CSU-Pueblo scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholar: $8,000 per year (30 ACT/1370 SAT or Top 2% or 4.0 GPA)
ii. Distinguished Scholar: $5,000 per year (27 ACT/1280 SAT or Top 5% or 3.75 GPA)
iii. Promising Scholar: $3,000 per year (24 ACT/1180 SAT or Top 15% or 3.50 GPA)
Scholarship Application Guide:
No additional application is required. An , transcripts, and test scores must be received by the deadline, for any of the automatic merit scholarships to be awarded for the coming fall semester. Awards will not be recalculated based on new academic information received after that date.
