Scholarship Summary: 
High school applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and entering an undergraduate program (excluding Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, and others intending to pursue veterinary studies) are eligible for the Harrison McCain scholarship available at Dalhousie University. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Criteria for the awards include; 
  1. High school applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and entering an undergraduate program (excluding Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, and others intending to pursue veterinary studies).
  2. A minimum 80% average in the senior year of high school, 
  3. Financial need, 
  4. Leadership qualities, and 
  5. A recognized initiative in funding your own education. 

Value of Scholarship: 
The Dalhousie Harrison McCain Scholarship is valued as CAD$16,000.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
Apply to an undergraduate program at Dalhousie
•  Submit any supporting documentation related to the award application
Pay the $70 CAD admissions application fee
Submit your official first semester transcript or, for Nova Scotia and Ontario applicants, your provincial student ID number. all documents must be sent to the Registrar’s Office; transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution.

All required documentation must be postmarked by March 1.
