Scholarship Summary:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship at Furman University will recognize two international students who have a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. This scholarship will cover up to a minimum of 50% tuition and is renewable annually with satisfactory academic progress. The scholarship is open to students of all academic majors and fields of study.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, you must;
i. Apply to Furman University as an International student with an F-1 student visa.
ii. Demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
Value of Scholarship:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship covers 50% of the tuition cost annually.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply,
i. Apply for admission to Furman University using the Common Application or the Coalition Application online by the admission deadline, Jan. 15th. There is a $50 application fee.
ii. Complete the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship Application through your Furman online status page by February 1st.
iii. Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 15th.
iv. Confirm acceptance of scholarship and enroll at Furman by May 1st.
