Scholarship Summary:
Oklahoma Baptist University awards academic scholarships to freshmen students (domestic and international) based on their academic achievement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for scholarship consideration but scholarship amount awarded will depend on each applicant's admission package.
Value of Scholarship:
The OKBU Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Academic Grant: $10,000 annually {GPA: <=3.24, ACT: <=18 or
SAT: <=999 or CLT: <=63}
ii. President's Academic: $11,000 annually {GPA: 3.25–3.49 or ACT: 19–21 or SAT: 1000–1099 or CLT: 64–71}
iii. Trustee's Academic: $12,000 annually {GPA: 3.5–3.74 or ACT: 22–24 or SAT: 1100–1199 or CLT: 72–77}
iv. Founder's Academic: $15,000 annually {GPA: 3.75–4.0 or ACT: 25+ or SAT: 1200+ or CLT: 78+}
Recipients will need to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for the scholarship to be renewed.
