Scholarship Summary:
Marietta College is proud to recognize students' (US citizens and residents only) academic, extracurricular and leadership accomplishments by awarding in scholarships and grants every year. Our merit-based scholarships seek to recognize past accomplishments and future potential to propel a student's vitality in and contributions to our campus community.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration;
i. Be a first time, full-time, degree-seeking student accepted for admission to Marietta College by May 1, 2024.
ii. Meet the cumulative high school GPA requirement based on an official transcript.
Individual student eligibility is determined based on a holistic application review
Value of Scholarship:
The Marietta Domestic Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. 1835 Founders: $24,000 {Required: 4.00 High School GPA}
ii. Marietta Distinction: $23,000 {Required: 3.65 High School GPA}
iii. Compass: $21,000 {Required: 3.30 High School GPA}
Scholarship Application Guide:
When you submit your application for admission, you’ll automatically be considered for merit scholarships and awards. These awards are based on your high school GPA and you will be notified of your award at the time of admission.
