'24 University of Surrey Newtons' Mathematics Undergraduate Scholarship (England Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
The Newtons’ Undergraduate Scholarship, established by Paul and Jenny Newton, aims to encourage and support UK students from lower income backgrounds on any undergraduate degree programme led by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Surrey:

Students can receive The Newtons’ Undergraduate Scholarship in Mathematics in addition to a University Merit Scholarship as well as any other bursary, prize and award for which they are eligible, if successful.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
i. have an offer to study at undergraduate level any subject/s led by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Surrey
ii. have chosen the University of Surrey as your first or insurance choice
iii. have family income of no more than £35,000
iv. maintain a minimum level of 2:1 (60% or higher) throughout the course

Value of Scholarship: 
The Newtons’ Undergraduate Scholarship in Mathematics provides £3,000 a year for up to three years, plus £1,000 for a Professional Training placement if taken. 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply for The Newtons’ Undergraduate Scholarship in Mathematics;
i. Complete the scholarship application form by the deadline.
ii. Students will be advised of the outcome of their application following confirmation of their A Level results and place at Surrey.
