Scholarship Summary: 
Rider University is offering 10 competitive Trustee Scholarships to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) with exceptional academic qualifications.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be considered for the Trustee Scholarship, you must have;
i. Minimum of 3.7 GPA & 1340 SAT or 29 ACT or
ii. Minimum of 3.8 GPA (test-optional only)

Value of Scholarship: 
The Trustee Scholarship covers the full tuition cost for four years, and is valued approximately $150,000.

 Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Submit the completed application for admission.
  1. Essay question (required, 400-word): How will you explore the community at Rider? Consider how becoming a Rider Bronc will help shape your perspective and identity, and how your identity and perspective will help shape Rider.
iii. Upload video in 'Be A Bronc' Dashboard in the portfolio section
  • Video (required, 4 to 5 minute video): Share the most important activity in which you have participated in your life thus far. How has it added value to your life and shaped your plans for the future? How will you connect what what you have learned from it to your education at Rider?
  • Note: Trustee Scholarship applicants can only submit the video after they applied to Rider University via the Common Application. Soon after, applicants will gain access to their Be A Bronc Dashboard, where they will upload it in the Portfolio section
iv. Please include “Trustee Scholarship Video” and date in your video’s file name

v. In early January, all students will be notified of their Trustee Scholarship application status.

vi. Semi-finalists will be invited to the Virtual Trustee Scholarship Interview Day program on Saturday, January 27, 2024. If selected as a semi-finalist, attendance at Interview Day is required.
