Scholarship Summary: 
The UEA School of International Development is pleased to offer five competitive full fee scholarships for Master's international applicants and special country scholarships to applicants from the following countries namely; Bangladesh, Colombia, India, Japan, South Korea and Sub-Saharan Africa.


Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
Be a graduate of any International institution.
Hold a degree with a classification of 2:1 (or international equivalent).
Have secured an offer of a place to study your chosen MA or MSc course in the School of International Development

Value of Scholarship:  
The School of International Development Scholarships are valued as follows;
a. International Development: Full Tuition Fees Scholarship worth £19,800 (open to international and EU students, five awards available)
b. International Development: Scholarships for Students from Bangladesh - worth £8,000 (one award available)
c. International Development: Scholarships for Students from Colombia worth £8,000 (three awards available)
d. International Development: Scholarships for Students from India worth £8,000 (three awards available)
e. International Development: Scholarships for Students from Japan worth £6,000 (three awards available)
f. International Development: Scholarships for Students from South Korea worth £6,000 (two awards available)
f. International Development: Scholarships for Students from Sub-Saharan Africa worth £10,000 (three awards available)

Successful recipients will receive this award in the form of a tuition reduction from the international fee.

Complete the ID scholarship application form; before applying for this scholarship, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the Postgraduate Taught programmes in the School of Development.

The key part of your scholarship application will be to answer the following question in no more than 250 words: 
How does the course you have applied for help you achieve your career goals and how would your experiences and interests aid the learning of the cohort as a whole?
  • UEA is looking for a carefully written and concise summary as to how you believe the skills, knowledge and experience of studying on this course in the School of International Development will help you to successfully achieve your career goals. They are also keen to understand how your existing experiences and interests could enhance the learning experience of your peers on the same course and in the wider Master's cohort more generally.
