Scholarship Summary: 
University of Pittsburgh is awarding several academic scholarships covering tuition, mandatory fees, and room/board to talented domestic students from underrepresented groups who demonstrate academic excellence and potential for scholarly contributions to the University community

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
• Be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residents
• Be from an underrepresented minority group
• Have full-time enrollment at the Pittsburgh campus
• Have exceptional academic records

Value of Scholarship:
The University of Pittsburgh full-ride scholarships (covering tuition, mandatory fees, and room/board) are namely as follows;
 i. Donald Henderson Scholarship: students admitted to the Swanson School of Engineering
ii. Helen Faison Scholarship: students admitted to the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences
iii. Robert Lavelle Scholarship: students admitted to the College of Business Administration
iv. Adena Davis Scholarship: students admitted to the School of Nursing

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply,
i. Candidates must submit a completed application for admission no later than December 1.
ii. Based on a student’s academic record and supplemental information, select candidates will be invited to interview with the Scholarship Committee.
iii. Select Henderson, Faison, Lavelle, and Davis Scholarship candidates will receive an interview invitation by March 1.  Recipients will be notified of their selection by April 1.
