Scholarship Summary:
The University of Hull has a number of scholarships to support widening participation UK students in the full-time study of the MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This is a competitive scholarship scheme, and eligibility for the scholarship does not guarantee an award.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship funding, students must meet the UK Government nationality or residency status criteria, specifically:
i. You’re a UK national or Irish citizen or have settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme or indefinite leave to remain so there are no restrictions on how long you can stay
ii. You normally live in England
iii. You’ve been living in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for 3 years in a row before the first day of the first academic year of your course (apart from temporary absences such as holidays)
Or
1. Are a refugee (including family members)
2. Have humanitarian protection (including family members)
3. Are a stateless person (including family members)
In addition, scholarships are open to all applicants who meet the nationality/residency criteria and one or more of the following criteria, with priority given to the first four groups:
- Women
- Black students
- Students registered disabled
- Students from low socio-economic backgrounds
- Care experienced or care leaving students
- Estranged students
- Gypsy, Roma and Traveller students
- Refugees
- Children from military families
- Veterans and partners of military personnel
Please note that this award is only available to full-time students studying MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Value of Scholarship:
The Hull Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Bursaries are worth £10,000 each.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for the award;
i. You should first apply to study MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
ii. Complete this online form and answer the following questions:
1. Why do you want to study this conversion Masters?
2. What is your plan for joining the UK workforce after graduation? Please be as specific as possible.
When reviewing your application, Hull will look at personal circumstances, widening participation criteria and take into account academic background, achievements and excellence. All decisions on scholarships are both discretionary and final.
