Scholarship Summary: 
Northumbria University is passionate about helping students achieve their goals and tackle the challenges of tomorrow head on. The Northumbria Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarship is open to UK students applying to study at Northumbria University on a full time postgraduate course in the academic year 2023/24.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, you must:
i. Be a UK/Home student with 'Home' fee status
ii. Have applied for an eligible Full-Time Masters course at Newcastle City Campus or Coach Lane Campus in September 2023
iii. Met the Terms and Conditions and accepted your offer
iv. Be a self-funded student
v. Not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer funded

Value of Scholarship: 
The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships is valued as a £3,000 fee discount.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply for this scholarship;
i. Apply for an eligible Masters course. You can submit your application by clicking the ‘APPLY NOW’ button at the top of the course webpage and completing the application form. Current student? Head to your Student Portal and use the short application form to apply in less than 5 minutes.

ii. Once your course application has been processed, the Applicant Services team will update your Applicant Portal. This usually takes around two weeks. When you are in receipt of an offer for an eligible Masters course, you will be able to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.

iii. Check your inbox! Once you have been made an offer for an eligible Masters course, Northumbria will email you with an invitation to apply for the scholarship.

iv. Using the link in your email, submit your application for the Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship by answering the question, “How are you planning to make the most of your time studying for a Masters, and how will the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship support this?” Your answer must be less than 1,000 characters, and you must submit it by the deadline – 16:00 on 14 July 2023.

v. Successful applicants will be notified once the evaluation panel has met, no later than Friday 04 August.
